I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate atmosphere in which you can safely explore and work through feelings, thoughts, and beliefs that may be keeping you in a state of distress. I named my practice Nurture Your Mind Counseling because I strongly believe that we must take time to nurture our emotional and mental well being just as we do with our physical being. Sometimes, we just need help figuring out how to do that, which is where my help comes in. I know life can be busy and hectic, we often don’t take time to pause for ourselves. In our sessions together, we will have the opportunity to do just that.
I am eclectic in my orientation and offer a holistic, integrative approach to client-centered therapy. I do not believe there is a ‘one size fits all’ model of care. My holistic approach to therapy helps clients to achieve harmony and balance in their life. I can help you bridge the gap between feeling stuck and finding the answers. I approach each client with an open heart and mind. My style is down to earth, thoughtful, and touched with humor. I am collaborative and I focus on your strengths and resources. Together, we will develop goals you want to reach and create a plan on how to get there. I take every possible measure to ensure that my office is a safe place for clients to freely laugh, cry, or express anger as they need.
