I am a licensed clinical social worker with 10+ years experience treating children, adolescents and adults with various mental health disorders and concerns. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Duquesne University and my master’s degree in clinical social work at University of Pittsburgh. I have worked primarily in a community mental health agency since graduation which has allowed me the flexibility to treat an array of clientele ranging from young children to elderly. I view therapy as a time for each client to nurture one’s mind and mental well being. My intention for your therapy is to give you the space to treat yourself well, by aiding you in recognizing and focusing on your mental health symptoms, learning healthy coping strategies and reducing your distress. I treat a wide range of problems, but have developed a special interest in depression, mood disorders, anxiety, tween and adolescent mental health/behavioral issues, sports performance concerns, adjustments and life transitions as well as cultural adjustments. I am holistic in my therapeutic style, and focus on the mind and body connection. I genuinely care about each of my therapeutic relationships and hope that you will allow me the opportunity to join with you in this process.
